My Romanian Diary Day 46: It’s the season to slaughter pigs in Romania and I undress men with my eyes

Dear diary,

Today I woke up after ten hours of very good sleep, had my coffee and went back to sleep for like an hour. After coffee! I am very sensitive to caffeine. Even a bar of chocolate after 6 pm, keeps me up all night. On Sundays, I always have to choose between my morning coffee which I simply love and the afternoon nap, which I also love. I can’t usually have both. But today I was blessed. Of course, I feel so fresh at 9 PM that I will probably won’t fall asleep till morning, but who cares. This is my last week at work for 2012.

I took this one from a friend's Facebook. This happened at his grandparents' house in the country. As you can see, hot wine is a must when slaughtering pigs at -20 degrees Celsius

My news feed on Facebook is filled with pictures of sacrificed pigs. It is their season now. This weekend Romanians killed pigs, cleaned their intestines and made sausages. Rough days for pigs, really. Meanwhile, I had to think of a Christmasy article for a website but how can you get all jolly with all these pictures coming and going on my Facebook? Maybe I should write some advice on how to look sexy when you stab the pig, how to take care of your manicure before and after the making of sausages, how to clean the blood on your slaughtering outfit, what butchering outfit is in fashion this year and so on.

But the audience of that website is mostly formed by American women that buy their meat at the supermarket, instead of growing it in their back yards for a year, so such an article would have been kind of inappropriate.

Instead, I wrote on my Romanian blog how I undress men with my eyes. Last time I did this, it was last week, but I didn’t undress the guy completely, as it was fucking cold and I was afraid he would catch a cold in my fantasy and instead of …you know, I would start giving him tea and aspirin. I am both naughty and nice, as you can see.

I was born in 1980 and communism ended in 1989. So most of my childhood happened during the worst years of communism. I will share some of my memories here, in the coming days. Stay tuned!

Love,

Lavinia 🙂

Not good days for pigs indeed.
You should try to write a post mixing both, the pics and naked men, you never know, just look at 50 Shades.
Looking forward to the post about your childhood memories.

Hahaha, the result would be dirty for sure, but not the good kind of dirty, I am afraid :)) I am working on the article about my childhood memories, I am trying to gather some pictures right now. Thanks for your interest.
